CANASA DIRECTORY ANTI-SPAM GUIDE
The purpose of this Guide is to provide guidance to Members of the Canadian Security Association (“CANASA”) regarding
use of the Directory to send CEMs in light of the requirements set forth in the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (“CASL”).
This Guide is not intended to replace legal advice: in case of a doubt with respect to any CASL requirement, each Member is
responsible for seeking independent legal advice. CANASA cannot be held liable for any violation of CASL by a Member or
