Southwestern Ontario Regional Council Breakfast Meeting
Understanding Cyber Security Threats to the Security Network
Wednesday, March 28, 2018
Almost every modern security system is built on a network. Networks are highly standardized, highly structured and vulnerable to many simple forms of attack. How many precautions should we be taking to protect the security network? In this presentation we will discuss a structured approach to protecting a security network from simple network hardening to an active intrusion detection system. This method involves scaling the level of network protection to the customer’s risk of network intrusion.
