December 8 – CANASA Prairie Regional Council Holiday Event took place at the Canad Inns Polo Park with 18 attendees to network with security professionals and kick off the holiday season. November 26 – CANASA BC Regional Council Lunch and Holiday Cheer took place at Taverna Greka with 35 attendees to network, meet up with old friends and celebrate the holiday season. November 26 – CANASA Quebec Regional Council Christmas Cocktails began with a guided tour of the renowned ITHQ’s kitchen laboratories that have delivered some of the most famous chefs in Quebec with the event proceeding to the Hotel de I’Institut where the 63 attendees were able to make new contacts and mingle with friends. October 20 - Monitoring Station Symposium took place to share Best Practices for Monitoring Stations and introduce the new CANASA Monitoring Station Best Practices Guide. October 1 - CANASA, in partnership with the Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA), organized an information session which gathered 53 CANASA members at Chateau Royal in Laval. The meeting aimed at improving the understanding the Quebec Construction Code (CNB 2005 and the new CNB 2010) and the prerequisites according to the ULC Standard –S561. We wish to thank the President of CFAA Daniel Guérin, their members Antonio Lapolla, Pierre Noël and the guest speaker: Sylvain Desgroseilliers (T.P.I.).
