RBH Access Technologies is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Account Manager with proven experience in access control technology or IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets through in-person meetings, territory visits, cold calls, and networking. The Account Manager is self-motivated, outgoing, and thrives on building long-term relationships and closing deals in the field.

 Responsibilities
  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities through cold calling, field visits, networking, and referrals.
  • Meet with existing and prospective customers in person to present products/services and provide solutions.
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue goals. Pipeline needs to be updated daily in CRM.
  • Conduct territory analysis and strategic planning to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and stay up to date on industry trends.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
  • Prepare proposals, quotes, and contracts tailored to customer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, customer support) to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions in CRM software (calls, visits, proposals, follow-ups).
  • Act as a subject matter expert on RBH’s product suite, including access control software, hardware, and third-party integrations
  • Understand client needs and collaborate with internal engineering and technical support to develop tailored solutions

 Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of outside sales experience, ideally in access control, physical security and CCTV.
  • Strong understanding of electronic access control systems, including software platforms, controllers, readers, and credentials
  • Familiarity with IP networking, system integration, and security industry standards
  • Demonstrated success in technical or consultative selling
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory
  • Self-motivated and able to manage time and priorities effectively in a remote work environment
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
